Job Description
The Property Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and operational functionality of residential or commercial properties. This position involves performing general repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and addressing troubleshooting issues to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. The technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and may occasionally travel within the local area to service multiple properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs to maintain property functionality
- Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid equipment failures
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine solutions
- Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Carry out custodial duties to ensure clean property conditions
- Complete sheetrock repairs and painting tasks as needed
- Travel occasionally to various properties within the local area
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in property maintenance
- Must be a self-starter and work independently
