Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Unit in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or local first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access when required, and report trespassing, disturbances, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
- Support daily property operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence, and following post orders related to patrol, incident response, and/or customer interactions.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
