Job Description
Job DescriptionSalary: $18-$25 per hour
Scope of Responsibility: The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facilities and equipment according to safety objectives. Additionally, experience with carpentry, mechanics, landscaping and snow removal is needed. Providing support to the Corporate Facilities Manager as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Position Requirements: Qualifications based upon education, resume and/or work experience.
- Must be licensed for at least three years and have a clean driving record.
- Good organizational skills required.
- Must be able to lift and transport materials.
- Basic maintenance skills required.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Must complete daily runs on time and according to established requirements.
- Complete monthly vehicle maintenance checklist.
- Safe and timely transportation of products between facilities.
- Must be a team player.
- Self-starter, capable of managing multiple projects and/or assignments.
- Coordinate and assist with snow and ice removal in the winter months.
Education:
- High school diploma
- Clean driving record
- Ability to travel to other Lampire facilities as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to operate Lampire Owned vehicles as needed.
Working Conditions:
- Extremes of temperature, including heat in summer months and cold in winter months.
- Noise can be extreme if working in or on farm equipment, hearing protection may be required.
- Excessive walking may be required.
