Security Guard (Property Maintenance Specialist)
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to interact with others
- Patrol industrial and commercial subsidiary company locations of ACNR, Inc. to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and theft
- Ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
- May also be assigned to various locations including the main gate area
Experience
- Up to one (1) year security experience
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Effective communication is required
- Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
- Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
Job Schedule and Physical Demands
- Position is straight graves, 7 on x 7 off
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires (subject to applicants religious practices)
- Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule on a 24/7 basis (subject to the applicants religious practices)
- Ability/willingness to work any shift assigned
- Ability to lift floor-to-waist and waist-to-overhead
- Ability to push/pull as needed
- Standing, bending, step climbing, crawling and working overhead
- Ability to perform heavy labor and lift 50+ pounds as needed
