Magnolia Healthcare & Rehabilitation is looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join our team. If you’re someone who can fix things, stay organized, and take pride in keeping a building safe and running smoothly — we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do:

Complete daily maintenance requests throughout the facility

Perform basic repairs (lights, plumbing, doors, beds, etc.)

Assist with painting, patching, and general upkeep

Help prepare rooms for new admissions/discharges

Maintain grounds and outdoor areas as needed
-
Support preventative maintenance programs

Ensure the building remains safe, clean, and compliant

Work closely with nursing and leadership to address issues quickly
What We’re Looking For:

Previous maintenance experience preferred (healthcare or LTC a plus)
-
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
-
Ability to use tools and handle physical work (lifting, bending, ladders)

Strong work ethic and ability to respond quickly to issues
-
Team player with a positive attitude
Maintenance assistants typically handle repairs, facility upkeep, and safety-related tasks to keep buildings in good condition .
Schedule:

Full-time

Some weekends/on-call as needed
