Job Description A leading packaging company in Bardstown, Kentucky, is hiring for their Quality Department. This role includes operating the Inspection machine, monitoring products, visually inspecting products, setting up, and loading/unloading equipment.Responsibilities:
- Loading laminated web roll and thread into machine
- Monitoring and making adjustments
- Checking for defects, removing or placing tape on defects
- Clean and start Rewinder and Inspection Machines
- Completing production and shift reports
- Inputting parameters into control panels
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate or Technical Degree or certifications preferred
- Minimum of 2 years continuous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Computer skills with basic data entry is required
- Able to stand on feet the entire shift
- Must be able to train on 1st shift, 6am-2:30pm
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background check
