A day in your role

You start by reviewing overnight logs and predictive alerts, then tour your lines to inspect safety-critical components. Mid-morning, you execute scheduled PMs you helped design, update documentation, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime. When an unexpected fault pops up, you diagnose the root cause—mechanical or electrical—and return the asset to service safely. Throughout the day you collaborate across teams, always modeling safe work practices and clear communication.

What you’ll tackle

  • Carry out scheduled service on machinery, process equipment, and facility systems.
  • Pinpoint faults and resolve issues in electromechanical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
  • Own the Preventive Maintenance program: plan, document, and continuously improve tasks and intervals.
  • Leverage predictive technologies to detect trends and avoid unplanned stops.
  • Repair or replace worn components and return equipment to safe operation.
  • Conduct routine inspections for early risk identification and regulatory/safety compliance.
  • Maintain thorough records of work performed, parts used, and corrective actions.
  • Partner with production and other technicians to optimize machine availability and throughput.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and reinforce safe behaviors on the floor.
  • Pitch in with related tasks that support operations as needs evolve.

What you bring

  • 5+ years in a maintenance technician or closely related role.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical assemblies and industrial electrical systems.
  • Comfort reading technical manuals, prints, and wiring diagrams.
  • Sharp troubleshooting instincts and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effectiveness working independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience partnering across multiple levels in a manufacturing setting.
  • Resilience and a positive outlook under time pressure and changing priorities.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Physical capability to regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs and occasionally 50+ lbs; ability to twist, turn, grasp, reach, kneel, crawl, pull, and stand/walk for extended periods.
