Overview
\n
\n
Own the direction of our data platform and build it yourself. You will define the data engineering roadmap, develop pipelines and models hands-on, and set the standards that keep our data reliable, governed, and usable.
\n
\n
Responsibilities:
\n
• Define and drive the data platform roadmap across ingestion, transformation, and serving.
\n
• Stay hands-on: design and build pipelines and data models in Snowflake on AWS.
\n
• Establish standards and best practices for data modeling, quality, testing, lineage, and governance.
\n
• Build reliable ingestion from product and vendor sources such as Piano, Sailthru, and GraphQL services.
\n
• Make data accessible and trustworthy for analytics and reporting in Domo and Snowflake.
\n
• Instrument pipeline observability and alerting (Datadog, VictorOps), and mentor data engineers.
\n
\n
Requirements:
\n
• Extensive experience designing and operating production data platforms and pipelines.
\n
• Deep Snowflake and SQL expertise plus strong data modeling fundamentals.
\n
• Hands-on experience with AWS, orchestration, and modern ELT/transformation tooling.
\n
• A track record of setting data technical direction while remaining a strong hands-on contributor.
\n
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tooling and sound judgment on its output.
\n
\n
The projected hourly range for this position is $85 to $100.
