About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our growing multifamily construction team. This role will support Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up and renovation multifamily housing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to grow their career in construction project management while working on high-quality multifamily developments.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with all phases of multifamily construction projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and field personnel.
- Track project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Review construction documents, specifications, and contracts.
- Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action items.
- Monitor project progress and help identify schedule or budget impacts.
- Support procurement activities, including bid packages and material tracking.
- Assist with project documentation, reporting, and closeout processes.
- Maintain effective communication with owners, architects, engineers, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and project standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 1-4 years of construction project management or project engineering experience.
- Multifamily construction experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project controls.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
