As a Security Officer - Full Time in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff through strong communication, dependable service, and a caring, people-first approach while working with agility, teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access-related concerns, visitor questions, and/or directional support in a professional manner.
- Support healthcare staff, patients, and visitors by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
