The Ground Maintenance role involves ensuring the upkeep, safety, and aesthetic appeal of outdoor areas such as parks, campuses, or commercial properties. This position requires hands-on work with landscaping tools and equipment to maintain lawns, gardens, and other grounds features, fostering a clean and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine mowing, trimming, and pruning of lawns and vegetation.
- Maintain flower beds and landscaped areas, including weeding and fertilizing.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
- Manage waste and debris removal to keep outdoor spaces clean.
- Inspect grounds to identify maintenance needs and report issues.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and snow clearance.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective gear as required.
