Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our barrel electroplating operations. This role is responsible for maintaining production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair electroplating equipment (barrels, hoists, pumps, filters, conveyors)
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Inspect and maintain tanks, chemical systems, and facility equipment
- Assist with equipment installation and upgrades
- Maintain maintenance logs and records
- Follow all safety procedures and policies
Qualifications:
- 2+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical skills; basic electrical troubleshooting
- Experience with pumps, motors, gearboxes preferred
- Ability to read schematics
- Welding/fabrication a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in active environment
