Job Description
We are seeking a Design Release Engineer (DRE) with 0–3 years of experience in automotive interior engineering.

Requirements:
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with automotive interior soft trim and hard trim components
- Knowledge of floor carpets, floor mats, headliners, and related interior systems
- Experience with NX and Teamcenter
- Understanding of DFMEA and DVP&R activities
- OEM or automotive supplier design and release experience preferred
- Experience supporting prototype and production builds

Key Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Design, develop, validate, and release interior soft trim/hard trim components
- Lead supplier design reviews and ensure compliance with performance and safety requirements
- Create and manage DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, boundary diagrams, and interface matrices
- Support vehicle integration, testing, plant builds, and launch activities
- Manage CAD models and drawings in NX and Teamcenter
- Resolve engineering issues through structured problem-solving
- Support cost reduction, weight reduction, and quality improvement initiatives
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and manufacturing plants to ensure successful product launches

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in Engineering or Business
- Experience with DFSS or Shainin Problem Solving
- In-plant launch experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
