As a Armed Security Officer Patrol Detail in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence as required by the post.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
- Document incidents, patrol activity, and observations in required reports and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
