Job Summary
A growing commercial real estate development organization is seeking a Real Estate Development Project Lead to join its Charleston, SC team. This direct hire, full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for a motivated real estate professional who wants broad exposure to the complete commercial development lifecycle, including acquisitions, due diligence, entitlements, permitting, construction coordination, and client delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial retail development projects from site identification through completion.
- Evaluate potential development sites using market research, demographics, traffic patterns, zoning requirements, and feasibility analysis.
- Coordinate LOIs, purchase agreements, due diligence activities, entitlement steps, permitting, and related transaction documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, attorneys, surveyors, consultants, contractors, brokers, landowners, municipalities, and retail clients.
- Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, deliverables, approvals, and risks to keep projects moving forward.
- Review site plans, surveys, easements, construction drawings, development documents, and municipal requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience.
