## Build the Infrastructure Powering the Next Generation of AI

Would you like to help build the data center infrastructure supporting one of the largest AI technology programs in the country?

We are hiring L1 and L2 Data Center Installation Technicians for a large-scale infrastructure deployment supporting NTT and Google AI data center operations.

These are hands-on roles for technicians who are comfortable working in an active construction and data center environment. You will install racks, servers, network equipment, structured cabling, power connections, and cooling infrastructure.

This is an onsite position that requires shift flexibility, attention to safety, and the ability to perform physical installation work throughout the shift.

## Available Shifts

* First shift: 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

* Second shift: 3:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.

* Third shift: 11:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m.

Final shift assignments will be confirmed during the interview process.

## What You Will Do

* Build and prepare equipment racks

* Rack and stack servers, storage devices, and network equipment

* Run, route, label, and organize fiber and copper cabling

* Install patch panels, cable trays, and related infrastructure

* Connect and verify power cables and rack PDUs

* Follow rack elevations, diagrams, work instructions, and checklists

* Inspect completed installations for labeling, cable routing, and quality

* Support pre-installation and post-installation rack inspections

* Assist with component replacements and basic break-fix work

* Maintain accurate installation and project documentation

* Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards

* Follow all site safety, PPE, and construction-zone requirements

* Communicate installation issues to team leads and project managers

## L1 Technician Requirements

L1 technicians should have a basic understanding of physical network infrastructure and be prepared to learn standardized data center installation procedures.

* Experience with rack-and-stack work, telecommunications, construction, electrical work, low-voltage cabling, or a similar hands-on trade

* Basic knowledge of copper or fiber cabling

* Ability to identify common cables, connectors, racks, and network equipment

* Familiarity with hand tools and basic installation tools

* Ability to follow diagrams, written instructions, and safety procedures

* Willingness to learn fiber installation and data center processes

* Ability to communicate clearly with technicians and supervisors

* Ability to work as part of a structured installation team

Data center experience is helpful but not required when the candidate has relevant cabling, telecommunications, construction, mechanical, or technical installation experience.

## L2 Technician Requirements

L2 technicians must be able to complete installations with less supervision and troubleshoot Layer 1 cabling issues.

* Previous data center, central office, telecommunications, or infrastructure deployment experience

* Strong rack-and-stack experience

* Hands-on structured cabling experience with fiber and copper

* Experience testing and troubleshooting fiber-optic connections

* Experience using Fluke, OLTS, OTDR, light-meter, or similar testing equipment

* Knowledge of servers, storage equipment, switches, routers, and rack infrastructure

* Ability to read rack elevations, cabling schematics, and installation documentation

* Experience with PDUs, dual power feeds, or redundant power configurations

* Ability to identify installation defects and complete corrective work

* Ability to perform quality inspections and installation validation

* Ability to work independently and provide guidance to L1 technicians

Experience with direct-to-chip liquid cooling, manifolds, hoses, BIOS validation, firmware checks, or operating-system imaging is helpful but not required for every position.

## Physical and Safety Requirements

This is a physical, hands-on position in an active construction and data center environment.

Candidates must be able to:

* Stand and walk for extended periods

* Work from ladders for portions of the shift

* Bend, reach, lift, carry, and install equipment

* Work around racks, cable trays, power equipment, and construction activity

* Wear required PPE throughout the workday

* Follow strict site safety and housekeeping procedures

* Work safely around sensitive and mission-critical equipment

Most PPE will be provided. Technicians must supply approved work boots that are:

* Full leather

* Composite toe

* Above the ankle

* Appropriate for an active construction environment

Steel-toe shoes and athletic-style safety shoes may not meet site requirements.

## Travel and Training

Candidates may be required to travel for approximately 1 week of training before beginning onsite work. Approved training travel expenses will be covered for non-local candidates.

Training may include an assessment or exam that must be completed before deployment.

## Contract Opportunity

The initial contract is expected to last at least 3 months. Extensions or future full-time opportunities may be available based on project demand, attendance, safety performance, technical performance, and the value delivered during the deployment.
