Job Description
As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol Driver in Groveport, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location as an unarmed officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service and communication while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative team culture with care, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials where required, and support authorized entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
- Assist with security-related concerns such as escort requests, directional assistance, and incident follow-up while maintaining professionalism and attention to location protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
