Robert Half is seeking a Cable Technician to support a one-day technology deployment project in Tumwater, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on IT support experience who is comfortable working onsite alongside a Lead Technician to assist with various installation and infrastructure tasks.
Project Details:
- Location: Tumwater, WA (Onsite)
- Pay Rate: $25/hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist with IT hardware installations and deployments.
- Support structured cabling, cable routing, and cable terminations.
- Perform punch-downs and assist with basic network connectivity tasks.
- Inventory, organize, and track IT equipment and materials.
- Work alongside the Lead Technician to complete project objectives efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout the project.
- Previous experience in IT support, desktop support, or field services.
- Experience with structured cabling, cable terminations, and punch-downs.
- Comfortable handling and organizing IT equipment and inventory.
- Ability to follow technical direction and work collaboratively with a project team.
- Reliable transportation to the project site.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
