As an Unarmed Security Officer at a luxury retail establishment, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both customers and staff. Your primary focus will be on access control, monitoring surveillance systems, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols within the retail setting. Reporting directly to the Store Manager and Region Security Manager, you will provide visible security presence and respond effectively to any incidents while delivering high-quality customer assistance during primarily day shifts with occasional weekend work.
Transportation: Reliable transportation needed.
Security Scheduling Plan: Looking for (2) motivated security officers who wish to split up the work week and work 3 to 4 days a week for a luxury retail establishment.
Responsibilities
- Control access to the retail premises to ensure authorized entry
- Monitor surveillance equipment to detect and deter suspicious activities
- Report incidents accurately and promptly to management
- Assist customers by providing directions and security information
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols
- Respond effectively to emergencies and incidents as they arise
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in security services
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Security Officer License (where applicable)
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and patrol procedures
- Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
- Proficient in incident reporting and emergency response
- Attention to detail and clear communication abilities
