Job Title: IT App Developer II
Location: Canton, NY
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Canton, NY
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Education: Associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
DOD/ITAR Compliant Required - This is an ITAR facility. DOD compliance requires U.S. Citizens for this role.
What You'll Do
- Support and maintain manufacturing applications, including MES and custom business systems
- Troubleshoot application, database, and production issues to minimize downtime
- Develop, test, debug, and implement enhancements using C#, SQL, and Visual Studio
- Analyze application code and troubleshoot software written in C# and Python
- Write SQL queries to investigate data issues and ensure database integrity
- Support Oracle and SQL Server environments
- Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and IT teams to identify and resolve technical issues
- Create technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles
- Participate in software testing, deployments, and change management activities
- Assist with application administration and user account management
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and provide occasional after-hours support
