Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining mechanical machinery, electrical systems, and general facility systems within a small maintenance team. This role involves performing equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure operational efficiency. The technician will also handle safety compliance, tool management, and respond promptly to emergencies during standard business hours and on-call periods.
Responsibilities
- Repair mechanical machinery and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Manage tools and maintenance supplies efficiently
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
- Replace parts to maintain equipment functionality
- Maintain manual logs and utilize specialized software for maintenance tracking
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in mechanical repair and electrical systems
- Strong preventive maintenance and troubleshooting skills
