Position: Complex Electromechanical Systems Test Technician
Employment Type: Direct Hire
City: Huntsville, AL
Pay rate: $18-20/hr.
Shift: 4A - M-Th 5:30am to 4pm
JOB PURPOSE
- Performs a wide variety of complex electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on complete integrated systems.
- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Performs in process real time failure analysis and evaluates the electrical and mechanical characteristics of systems and/or integrated circuits, components, sub-components and systems to determine the cause of failure as well as appropriate actions for immediate correction.
- Develops methods, processes, procedures and equipment that will improve the failure analysis process and/or reduce failures.
NATURE OF WORK:
- To assemble complex electromechanical assemblies.
- Large system assembly.
- Must be able to read and interpret electronic schematics and assembly drawings.
- Must be able to work closely with engineers.
