We’re looking for a security‑minded PKI and Cryptography Engineering Lead who’s excited to take ownership of our enterprise Public Key Infrastructure and help it continue to evolve. In this role, you’ll lead a talented PKI team while staying hands‑on with the technologies that enable secure authentication, encryption, and digital trust across the organization. If you enjoy solving complex security challenges, modernizing legacy systems through automation, and mentoring others along the way, this could be a great fit. You’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of digital certificates—from issuance and renewal to revocation, auditing, and incident response—making sure everything runs reliably and securely. A big part of your day‑to‑day work will involve designing and maintaining PKI architecture, including root and subordinate CAs, OCSP responders, and integrations with HSMs. You’ll also help drive certificate automation using tools like Venafi, DigiCert, or Microsoft Certificate Services, reducing risk while improving speed and scalability for application teams.

Candidates must bring leadership experience along with a strong background in information security. This can be demonstrated through a bachelor’s degree with at least five years of information security experience, a master’s degree with at least three years of information security experience, or a minimum of eight years of information security experience overall. In all cases, at least one year of experience in a lead or leadership role is required.
