Job DescriptionSalary: $20.00 / hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, equipment, and common areas. The ideal candidate will help ensure that the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general repairs, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting work.
  • Inspect facilities, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life.
  • Repair or replace damaged fixtures, equipment, and building components.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with renovations, installations, and property improvement projects.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in general maintenance, preferably in hotels, apartment communities, commercial buildings, or similar environments.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of:
    • Electrical systems
    • Plumbing
    • HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
    • Carpentry
    • Painting
    • General building repairs
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical condition, including the ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform manual labor.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends or emergency calls when needed.
  • Technical certifications or trade licenses are a plus but not always required.

Tools and Equipment Experience:

  • Hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.)
