Job Description
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech data center location, where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, supporting a dynamic environment with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Support daily operations by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and communicating clearly with clients, visitors, and/or team members regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
