About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Civil Engineer to lead diverse infrastructure and airport development projects. The ideal candidate will manage projects from design through construction, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct value engineering reviews to optimize cost and quality.
- Prepare, review, and manage change orders while mitigating project risks.
- Coordinate communication between airport authorities, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Lead regular project meetings and provide progress updates.
- Oversee asset lifecycle management to ensure long-term operational efficiency.
- Manage the design phase, ensuring consultants meet contractual obligations.
- Supervise the construction phase, monitoring schedules, milestones, budgets, and project performance.
- Review and validate engineering designs for compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Michigan (MI).
- 15–20+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on construction, infrastructure, and/or airport development projects.
- Strong leadership and project management experience with a proven record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience managing large-scale airport or transportation infrastructure projects.
