As a Security Officer Hospital Route Driver in Warrensville Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with directions, visitor questions, and security-related concerns.
- Support daily operations by observing for hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues, then reporting concerns through the appropriate channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of required vaccinations is required for this hospital site.
- This position is located at a hospital site that includes a morgue.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
