QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
2. At least 5 years of experience building processes that support data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
3. At least 5 years of experience writing and optimizing queries and implementing data pipelines
4. Expert SQL knowledge and at least 5 years of experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
5. Demonstrated knowledge of Kimball dimensional modeling preferred
6. A successful history of manipulating and processing large, disconnected datasets
7. Experience with multiple database technologies, including but not limited to: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
8. Experience with analytics platforms such as Tableau and Power BI
9. Proven ability to process large data sets of unstructured and structured data
10. Experience with Python for ETL scripting
11. Effective verbal and written communication skills and exceptional problem-solving skills
12. Strong business acumen with demonstrated understanding of technology.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Transform data into a format that can be easily analyzed, ensuring system scalability, security, performance and reliability
2. Build high-performance ETL processes, algorithms, prototypes for data modeling, mining, and production
3. Build and maintain an enterprise data ecosystem including ingestion, storage, organization, and ensures quality and accuracy of data used by performing data quality measurement and analysis
4. Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining and production
5. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
6. Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures
7. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
