As a Security Officer Access Screening in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic transportation location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, document visitor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, platforms, yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to observe and report unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to access activity, incidents, deliveries, and other site-specific security-related procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
