As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Part Time in Miami Lakes, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. This is a driving post, with responsibilities that may include vehicle patrols throughout the location. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity according to site protocols, helping to support authorized access for personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries.
- Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate site representatives, and complete required logs, reports, and other assigned records related to security-related activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
