A leading organization is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a large-scale PC refresh and deployment initiative. This role involves deploying and configuring desktop and laptop systems, installing peripherals, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing onsite support to end users.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and configure Windows desktop and laptop systems
Perform PC imaging, hardware setup, and peripheral installations
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network/connectivity issues
Update service tickets, track IT assets, and maintain deployment documentation
Provide onsite technical support and excellent customer service during deployments
Ensure timely completion of refresh schedules and project milestones

Required Qualifications

3+ years of Desktop Support or PC Deployment experience
Experience with Windows imaging, desktop hardware, and troubleshooting
Basic knowledge of Active Directory
Strong communication and customer service skills
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain one)
Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with enterprise or government desktop refresh projects
Knowledge of tools such as SCCM, MDT, Intune, or Autopilot
