LaborMAX Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with Carpentry Experience for a growing client in Newberry, SC. Responsibilities
- Perform general building and facility maintenance
- Complete carpentry projects including repairs, flooring, framing, trim work, doors, windows, and cabinetry
- Repair and maintain flooring, drywall, ceilings, and other building components
- Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to maintenance requests
- Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist with facility improvements and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience required
- Carpentry experience required
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow work orders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
