Position Details
- Position: Apartment Maintenance Technician
- Company: BG Staffing
- Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch break
- Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Responsibilities
As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the apartment community. Responsibilities include:
- Completing service requests and work orders in a timely manner
- Performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks
- Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
- Preparing vacant apartments for new residents (make-readies/turns)
- Maintaining grounds and common areas as needed
- Ensuring all work is completed according to safety standards and company guidelines
- Communicating professionally with residents, property management, and team members
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
- EPA Certification is a plus but not required
