The role includes developing and supporting architectural drawings, design specifications, implementation instructions, test procedures, and test reports for a medium-power 1000-volt product used in mission-critical, safety-critical applications.
Responsibilities
- Perform integration and testing activities for complex maritime systems, ensuring reliable performance in mission-critical environments.
- Conduct formal verification and formal validation of system requirements and designs.
- Execute system integration tasks, including hardware and software integration, to confirm end-to-end functionality.
- Develop, document, and maintain detailed test procedures for system integration and verification activities.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive test reports that capture test results, issues, and recommendations.
- Support the creation and maintenance of architectural drawings and system design specifications.
- Produce implementation instructions that guide the deployment and configuration of system components.
- Utilize integration and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems to perform measurements and diagnostics.
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices, including the use of SysML and MBSE tools, to support system design and analysis.
- Work within an agile methodology framework to plan, execute, and iterate on integration and test activities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve integration issues and improve system reliability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration and test processes, tools, and documentation to support safety-critical product development.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related technical field.
- 4–8 years of related experience in systems engineering, system integration, and test.
- Hands-on experience with system integration and test for complex technical systems, preferably in a defense or safety-critical environment.
