Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager on contract to support the delivery of a multi-application manufacturing program. This role is responsible for driving day-to-day execution, coordination, and delivery across application workstreams, ensuring plans are actionable, risks are managed, and outcomes are achieved.

The Sr. IT Project Manager will serve as a key delivery partner, translating program strategy into execution and coordinating across manufacturing and warehouse management systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.

**This role is 100% onsite. Additionally, we do not do corp-to-corp or work with partners.**
\n
\n
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Partner directly with the Program Lead to execute program priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Translate high-level program strategy into detailed workplans, milestones, and actionable deliverables.
- Maintain and manage core program artifacts:
- Integrated project schedule
- RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- Action tracker with owners and due dates
- Status reporting (weekly/monthly)
- Coordinate across multiple application workstreams (MES, WMS, SAP, Blue Yonder, TrakSYS) to ensure alignment and sequencing.
- Track interdependencies and escalate conflicts or delays to the Program Lead.
- Ensure consistent execution across teams, including IT, operations, engineering, and vendors.
- Support oversight of system integrators and vendors, ensuring deliverables meet quality, scope, and timeline expectations.
- Track vendor performance against milestones and escalate risks early.
- Assist with SOW tracking, deliverable acceptance, and issue resolution.
- Act as a bridge between the Program Lead and execution teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Prepare concise, executive-ready updates highlighting:
- Status vs. plan
- Key risks and mitigation actions
- Decisions required
- Facilitate working sessions, status reviews, and issue resolution meetings.
- Coordinate test planning and execution (SIT and UAT), ensuring readiness and tracking defects.
- Support cutover planning and execution activities, including detailed runbooks and timelines.
- Track readiness across:
- Training
- SOPs and documentation
- Support model and hypercare plans
- Track project financials (budget vs. actuals) and support forecasting updates.
- Monitor schedule adherence and identify risks to critical path milestones.

REQUIREMENTS:
\n
- \n
- 7+ years of IT project management experience supporting large-scale programs.
- Must have experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Environments
- Proven ability to execute within complex, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
- Strong experience with structured project delivery (plans, RAID, action tracking, reporting).
- Experience supporting enterprise application implementations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a focus on clarity and accountability.

ADDITIONAL:
\n
This contract project is approximately two years long. It will be one year in Nashville, TN and then the second year there will be travel to Hopkinsville, KY. There will be some assistance with travel expenses.
