Part-Time Support Operator
Schedule: Part-time, Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM $18.50
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Support Operator to help maintain production parts and inventory. This role involves receiving, inspecting, organizing, tracking, and packaging parts while ensuring inventory accuracy and quality standards are met. You'll also work with purchasing to order supplies and coordinate outgoing parts for rework.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory and organize materials.
- Package parts for rework, including measuring, inspecting, and recording data.
- Use a computer to enter inventory information, complete reports, and track materials.
- Verify parts meet quality standards before moving them to the next process.
- Assist with ordering parts and daily supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or technical experience is helpful but not required.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for most of a 4-hour shift.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Push or pull carts weighing up to 200 lbs.
- Perform repetitive movement, data entry, and material handling tasks.
