Location: Washington, DC (Primarily On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Contingent Upon Contract Award)
Place of Performance: Primary work location is anticipated to be at FMCS Headquarters, 250 E Street SW, Washington, DC 20427. Limited telework may be available only when approved by the Government.
Security Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) Background Investigation.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Technical Lead / Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for enterprise application development, cloud modernization, systems integration, and solution architecture across a Microsoft-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture and solution design activities.
- Serve as the technical lead for application modernization initiatives.
- Provide oversight for software development, integration, testing, deployment, and code quality.
- Guide technical teams on best practices, DevSecOps, and secure application development.
- Develop technical roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and implementation strategies.
- Support modernization, migration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, and Government standards.
- Mentor development teams and provide technical direction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of enterprise application development and solution architecture experience.
- Experience designing Microsoft-based enterprise solutions.
- Strong background in cloud technologies, application integration, and software architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure certifications.
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
- Experience supporting Federal Government IT programs.
