Your impact
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes and assembly cells using standard work and technical drawings.
- Address alarms quickly; troubleshoot to maintain flow and meet schedule, quality, and safety goals.
- Install and maintain tooling; verify performance and part quality with in-process checks.
- Measure, gauge, and document production data to ensure compliance and repeatability.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Safety to remove obstacles.
- Track KPIs, identify gaps, and lead root cause analysis (5 Why) for continuous improvement.
What you bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years setting up/operating/maintaining/troubleshooting thread-cutting lathes (Haas and/or Fanuc strongly preferred)
- Proven root cause analysis experience for process failures, quality escapes, or customer issues
- Nice to have: forklift experience, non-CNC machining, and grinding
- Hands-on experience in a lean manufacturing environment
Role requirements
- Proof of full COVID vaccination or waiver*
- On-site reliability: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Geneva, IL
- Lift up to 50 lbs; stand for 8 hours
- Clear written and verbal English
- Mechanical aptitude and a team-first attitude
- Coachability; follow standards, systems, and safety protocols
- 18+ years of age

Compensation & benefits
Salary Range: $28.00 - $35.00 Based on experience & qualifications.
