Position Title: FT Maintenance Assistant
Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a 120 bed long term care facility located in Rosyln, PA. We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team on a full time basis.
As a Maintenance Assistant the responsibilities will be:
* Implement maintenance systems to meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements
* Demonstrates competence in general maintenance tasks, tactful interpersonal communication and problem solving.
*Positive interactions and customer service to our residents and families
* Notify supervisor when equipment is in need of repair.
* Notify supervisor when areas of the facility are in need of repair.
Maintenance assistant qualifications:
* High School, trade/vo-tech graduate or equivalent.
* Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
* Must function independently, exhibit flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, families and support agencies.
* Is familiar with Federal and State Long Term Care regulations and requirements.
