Job DescriptionSalary: $63,000-$65,000 Annual DOE
Summary:
Hatalom is seeking a Simulation System Administrator I, in support of the Mission Training Complex (MTC) program on Ft. Carson, Colorado to provide units with a simulation training environment utilizing government provided hardware and software configured to fulfill the needs of a simulation control plan. Assist team members in the installation, configuration and operation of the operating system(s), security and simulation software necessary to the training environment.
Responsibilities:
- Must have a good understanding of TCP/IP networks and protocols.
- Assists in the tracking and reporting of system / software anomalies that are reported to system developers for correction.
- (Integration) Provides units with stimulation to C4I systems from a simulation training environment to produce Common Operating Picture
- Assist unit representatives and field support representatives in understanding how simulations will integrate into the C4I networks to provide stimulation.
- Maintains necessary information assurance protocols on stimulation / simulation systems that includes but not limited to: System lockdown procedures, operating system patches, and stimulation / simulation software patches.
Requirements:
- Minimum BA or BS degree in Information Technology or related field.
- (3) three additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree; Must have five years of computer experience in information systems design and management.
- Familiar with the configurations, operations, and integration of mission command information systems including AFATDS, JADOCS, AMDWS, TAIS, JBCP, and CPCE
- Experience with building the common operating picture using the mission command information systems while in a tactical operations center
- Experience with planning and executing command post training exercises
- Troubleshooting experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- IAT Level I certificate
- Active SECRET clearance
- U.S. Citizen
LOCATION: Fort Carson, CO - relocation assistance is not available for this position.
