Powersports Porter
Join the Hunter Power Sports Team
Hunter Power Sports is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Powersports Porter to join our team. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, staying active, and supporting daily dealership operations.
As a Powersports Porter, you will play an important role in maintaining an organized dealership environment, moving vehicles safely, assisting customers, and ensuring work vehicles are clean, prepared, and ready for display, delivery, and customer experiences.

What You'll Do
Vehicle Movement & Lot Organization
- Safely drive and park work vehicles throughout dealership property.
- Operate a forklift to assist with moving, organizing, and positioning vehicles and equipment when needed.
- Move vehicles between display areas, service departments, detailing areas, and delivery locations.
- Keep new and used inventory organized, clean, and arranged according to dealership standards.
- Assist with preparing vehicles for customer demonstrations, test rides, and deliveries.
Customer Support
- Greet customers and provide a friendly and professional first impression.
- Assist with retrieving vehicles and preparing units for customer appointments.
- Support sales and service teams with daily vehicle needs.
- Help create a positive and professional customer experience.
Vehicle Maintenance & Preparation
- Perform basic vehicle upkeep, including:
- Washing vehicle exteriors.
- Vacuuming and cleaning interiors.
- Filling fuel tanks as needed.
- Checking tire pressure.
- Assisting with charging batteries when needed.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for customers.
Inventory & Dealership Support
- Assist with stocking in new vehicle arrivals.
- Place buyer guides and required documentation in vehicle windows.
- Organize and maintain keys, key tags, and vehicle information.
- Support accurate inventory organization and dealership processes.
Qualifications
Preferred Skills
- Previous powersports, automotive, dealership, detailing, or customer service experience is a plus.
- Experience working around vehicles and equipment is preferred.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn dealership processes and equipment operation.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
