As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a people-first culture through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service while using innovation and agility to respond to daily site needs.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter boundaries, while helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials for authorized entry to restricted areas, while helping to support established protocols for a high-technology operating environment.
- Maintain readiness for an armed post by following post orders, handling assigned equipment in accordance with policy, and reporting security-related issues, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
