Job Description
As a Security Officer - Full Time - Evenings in Luckey, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will interact with visitors and staff with professionalism, while bringing our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support loss prevention and operational goals by observing high-traffic areas, assisting with crowd and vehicle flow, and maintaining detailed activity and incident reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Access control and badge experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
