Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile Senior QA Test & Quality Operations Engineer to bridge the gap between software automation and operational quality control. This role requires a candidate who is equally comfortable writing Python/Java automation scripts and performing root-cause analysis on complex system or product defects. You will lead test strategies, manage end-to-end defect lifecycles, and ensure both software and physical quality standards meet rigorous specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution: Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans for web applications, APIs, and database workflows, ensuring all release sign-offs meet acceptance criteria.

Automation Leadership: Build and maintain reusable regression and smoke-test scripts using Selenium, PyTest, or JUnit to reduce manual effort and improve detection rates.

Defect Investigation: Triage reported issues by analyzing logs, executing SQL queries, and performing network traces to isolate root causes.

Quality Operations & Auditing: Conduct internal audits and visual inspections of materials or products, maintaining 5S-ready environments and standardizing SOPs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and operations teams to validate fixes, document nonconformances, and refine reproduction steps in Jira.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) for data validation and back-end testing.

Testing Tools: Expert-level experience with Jira, Postman, Git, Selenium, and REST API testing.

Quality Control: Proven background in Quality Control Operations, including material examinations, calibration troubleshooting, and audit readiness.

Analytical Rigor: Strong ability to correlate defect reports with database records and equipment history to identify recurring defect drivers.

Education: B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.

Certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level or specialized SQL certification preferred.
