Job Overview
One of our clients is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Installer / Apprentice to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with fire alarm systems, low-voltage electrical applications, and fire protection installations. This role involves installing, maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting fire alarm and related safety systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and service fire alarm systems and related fire protection equipment.

Perform troubleshooting and repairs on existing fire alarm systems.

Conduct inspections and ensure systems comply with applicable safety codes and regulations.

Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and installation documentation.

Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and maintenance activities.

Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, inspections, and installations.

Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project requirements.

Stay updated on fire safety standards, codes, and industry best practices.
Qualifications

Experience with fire alarm installation, service, or maintenance preferred.

Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems.

Familiarity with fire alarm codes, NEC standards, and safety regulations.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
