South Florida Autism Charter Schools, Inc. (SFACS) seeks an experienced Development Manager who will be responsible for fundraising, marketing, and event management. Part-time position that can grow to full-time; $25-$30 per hour; salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to increase philanthropic support.

Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, including the annual Ray of Hope Gala, donor appreciation events, and community engagement activities.

Build and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors, individual donors, foundations, and community partners to expand financial support and strategic partnerships.

Create and oversee marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, newsletters, website content, and promotional materials to increase awareness and engagement.

Research, solicit, and secure sponsorships, donations, and in-kind contributions while managing donor recognition and stewardship programs.

Collaborate with leadership to develop annual fundraising goals, marketing plans, and community outreach strategies that align with the organization's mission and growth objectives.

Maintain donor databases, track fundraising performance, prepare reports, and ensure timely acknowledgments, grant support documentation, and compliance with nonprofit fundraising best practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in fundraising, event planning, marketing, donor relations, or nonprofit development.

Demonstrated success in securing sponsorships, cultivating donor relationships, and coordinating fundraising events and campaigns.

Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and represent the organization professionally.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media, email marketing, donor management (CRM) systems, and design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends, with a valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation for meetings and events.

Must successfully complete and maintain a Level 2 Background Screening, including fingerprinting, in accordance with Florida law and organizational requirements.
