We are seeking a hands-on Senior Test Engineer to lead verification, validation (V&V), and troubleshooting of high-performance digital multimedia products. This role is responsible for developing test strategies, executing system-level testing, identifying root causes of hardware/firmware/software issues, improving test automation, and supporting product releases.
\n
The ideal candidate has experience with embedded systems, high-speed video interfaces, product validation, and test automation, and can work independently while mentoring junior engineers.

Required Qualifications

Must Have
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of product verification, validation, or test engineering experience
- Experience testing embedded hardware and firmware-based products
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Experience testing high-speed video technologies including HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, SDI, SDVoE, streaming video, or similar
- Experience developing test plans, executing validation testing, and documenting results
- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other electronic lab equipment
- Python scripting for test automation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities

- Lead verification and validation testing for hardware, firmware, and software products
- Develop test plans, protocols, reports, and acceptance criteria
- Perform functional, regression, interoperability, reliability, environmental, and compliance testing
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, firmware, software, and system-level issues
- Perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions
- Develop and improve automated test scripts, fixtures, and lab equipment
- Support customer issue investigations and product sustaining activities
- Create and maintain engineering documentation
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians
- Support continuous improvement of test methods, automation, and engineering processes
