- Firmware development on RTOS-based embedded platforms
- WiFi connectivity, connection management, and cloud data upload
- Secure boot and OTA update mechanisms
- Device-to-cloud data buffering and communication protocols
- USB and peripheral interfacing
- Strong software engineering practices, including modular design, version control, code reviews, and testing
