Job Title: Color Sample Technician/Facilities Location: Shakopee, Minnesota Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $20/Hour Work Model: Onsite Hours: 7a-3:30p, M-F
Responsibilities
- Create and assemble color samples (12 x 12) of façade and floor products.
- Maintain sample inventory to support sales and customer needs.
- Produce samples for tradeshows and customer orders.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Assist with mailroom and loading dock duties as needed.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental policies.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- No advanced degree required; experience in construction or related fields preferred.
- Proficient with power tools (e.g., saws, drills, sanders) and hand tools (e.g., trowels, rollers).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work well with others.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand, sit, or lift for extended periods.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and enthusiasm to learn are essential.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
