Job Description
As a Security Officer Screening Representative in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and deliveries, and observe activity to help support a secure environment. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and work as part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, drivers, and/or deliveries entering or exiting the location in accordance with site procedures and access control requirements.
- Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Monitor entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and/or designated screening stations to help support authorized access and policy compliance.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, since working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Possess customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
